Rollo - Delv Mod - Flora
My hats off to you youngster, The Flora in the Delvemond is most excellent. They are extrememly tough and anyone who plays the mod should make sure they are in it. I'm playing the mod SP and they are TOUGH. DON'T CHANGE THEM UNLESS TO MAKE THEM TOUGHER THEN THEY ALREADY ARE, with the exception of maybe having them build Monitors and Super Monitors. They are aggressive and are tough to fight.... Just wanted to say great job and don't change them.. and with the FQM mod.. oh boy what fun, huge fleet battles 150 - 250+ ships and CV's, its great

The Flora for DNM is probably even tougher than the TDM one, thanks to the little gizmos and balance tweaks that DNM offers. Glad to hear you are having fun with them. Curious about the FQM quardrants. Is the AI using planet creation well and thus getting big fleets? If I get back to working on the mod (one of these days...), I'll add some massive ships for the end game. AIs playing on maps with high numbers of planets per system do better because they can build up more planets in less time, due to scouting limits and how the AI colonizes. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif [ September 22, 2003, 23:14: Message edited by: Imperator Fyron ] |

The Ai is building planets everywhere especially in the astroid systems,(also my allies building in my systems as well http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif these have anywhere from 20-47 planets in them, (so far) tough to knock out, ai is building massive fleets, in fact the Sonne, (lst place by the way) has 2024 ships alone, ugh..... and he's right next to me, lucky I have treaty with him http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif the ai does open wormholes, not to many now in later game due to system shields, my Last battle, the Flora had 132 ships, 46 of which were Fleet and Assault CVs, 1000+ ftrs which they launched ( I was dumb enough to attack him lst) I had no CV's http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif his ftrs had me for breakfast http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif I had anti ftr ships, but not enough. Yes the Flora are definitly strong in this mod and definitly stronger then in TDM. THe one thing I did see is that the Cuppa are weaker in this mod then TDM, you may want to boost them some http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif also the only thing I can see that the Flora might need tweaking is in their ground troops a little to weak.. I too agree about the Flora and Sonne! They are tough, well designed AI's; combined with FQM these AI are a real challenge. Question: Has there been any recently updated AI's for Devnull? Thanks Looking forward to new updates... |
