repair aptitude
does it actualy DO anything?
I set up a quick little game, one empire had non existant repair, the other had god like repair. they seemed to be both the same, both empires planets could repair at the same rate, and when I reserched the repair bay that also was the same for both empires. does it affect the cost to repair? or is it just a useless option? |

you dont see the changed numbers - the repair bay would still be 8, but a 50% race would only receive 4 out of it.

Right, the 50% repair skill affects how you use the repair bay, not the design of the repair bay itself.
So, if you were to gift that ship to another race, they'd get 8 points per turn out of it while you only get 4. |
