Re: RIAA

in canada, they could make millions suing the RIAA. sometimes, our crazy system is usefull.

'illegal search and seizure' is the term for what there doing, isn't it? gotta have a warrent. can do bad things in court to the people doing the search and seizure if they don't.

Re: RIAA

Only law inforcement agencies are legally allowed to do search and seizures... and even then they still need warrants.

I wonder why one of the news magazine shows doesn't blow the cover off of this type of militarisitic jack booted thugism?

If these raids were about something else, like trying to catch people having un-approved sex, then it would be an outrage and a violation of civil rights. But property is the first of all 'rights' in this society and no one dares to question any measures directed towards protecting or even extending it to new areas.

You put it well, capitalist Religion. You couldn't be more right.

Each day more and more people join this religion. You see them everwhere now, they are the stuck up, self centered, egomanliamacs, who drive expensive SUV, and are always taking on their cell phones.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">You're joking right? That's the only explanation I can concieve for what has to be one of the most ignorant statements I have ever read on this forum. It's this "religion" that allows you to enjoy the standard of living you enjoy in this country. Unless you're a government employee (oh, wait, they are ulimately paid by this "religion," too) you are either directly or indirectly paid by this "religion." When someone poor hires me to do a job maybe I will change my mind. I work in one of the richest towns in one of the richest counties of the country. Most if not all of my clients own expensive SUV's and/or European made sports cars or sedans. I'm sure they all own atleast one cell phone. Guess what? They are all just regular people despite their 6+ figure income. All very nice, generous, personable people.

Sounds to me like a case of jealousy. Maybe you should quit your *****in', spend less time playing around with a silly game, and exploit the talent I know you have.

Just a thought.
