Is "gift a system" functional?
 

I never used this before but now I tried twice to gift a system from one empire to the other (both under my manual control): Nothing happend after the receiving empire accepted the gift.
Is gifting an entire system not working??

I think it gifts the system in the borders window, not the actual system. Unless it is broken. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Gift System only gifts the ownership over a system to the alien race. To gift the rest you have to do it manually. Simply, add all the planets (and/or ships) to the gift package.

Thank you both for this information. I had the wrong opinion that gifting a system would hand over everything owned by empira A to empire B. Pity that it is not working that way.
