Game Scoring
A number of times I've wondered about the algorithm for computing player scores.
I can see that the number of ships and population play a big part, but other than that it's kind of hard to figure out. Can one of you experts briefly clue me in on how this works? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif By the way, in case you were wondering: A+++Se++GdY$++$*Fr!C+++CscSfAi++Au-M+S@R!FqRp-G+Mm++Bb--L+++ |
Re: Game Scoring
From the Newbie FAQ:
1.5.4 Score is calculated as follows: Every point of minerals, organics, and radioactives, generated counts as one score point. Every point of research and intelligence generated counts as one score point. Each kt of your ships and bases counts as 10 points. Each level of researched techs counts for 200 points. No points for units/pop/colonies/systems. (Ruatha) Mothballed ships/bases do not count toward score. (Asmala) [This will be added in next FAQ revision.] Slick. |
