OT: \'twas the night before Christmass,
 

and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
not even a mouse.

the stockings where hung by the chimney with care,
in the hopes that st. Nickolas soon would be there.

the children nestled all snug in their beds,
with visions of sugerplums dancing in their head.

i in my kerchef and ma in her cap,
had just settled down for a long winters nap,

when out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
i sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.

over to the window i sprang in a flash,
tore open the shutters and threw up the flash.

when what to my wondering eyes should appear but a minature sleigh and eight tiny window.

ok, right about here my memory and the two lines in one of the cartoons gives out.

anyway, technically it's christmass now.
