Andres, I like the slide show option on your new ship display. It's very nice. I also like the way you can see all the ships without having to scroll down the page. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

Do you realize that the slideshow button does not work in Mozilla Firebird? I select a different ship, and nothing happens. I hit the slideshow button, and all it does is change to "Stop." You need a warning that says it is only compatible with Internet Explorer.

I like the new format. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif It's nice how you can see all the mini pictures all logically organized in one place, so you can easily see the differences between the ship sizes. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

The slide show doesn't work very well for me, maybe because I have slow dialup internet connection. The portrait picture, mini picture, and name are often out of sync. For example, it will show the frigate mini while it still shows the escort portrait, and by the time the portrait updates, we're on to destroyer mini and name, and so on. But after it goes throught the complete cycle once, it seems to be OK, which I guess is because now all the pictures are in the Cache and load faster.

Glad you liked it.
I'll try to make it preload images.

It's strange it doesn't work in Firebird. Do you get some error? Does simpler stuff such as the nav buttons on top work? (those should also be pre-loaded in the future)

I'll also include a "traditional" race display with all protraits showing at once, probable in a separate page to reduce scrolling.

Bacause being the name of a known shipbuilding company from the Star Wars universe, most variations of 'Kuat Drive Yards' are already used.
And it's also nice to mention my host.

Also, the navigational buttons at the top work just fine.

On your links page, the link to Intel Forums is outdated and gets an error page. Several of the sections of text are black, such as IRC Channel and Star Wars Links. You might want to include a link to the official web site for the #se4 channel (http://se4irc.spaceempires.net/ ), since it provides info on how to connect to the channel for those that do not know how. Oh, and you mention that SpaceEmpires.org is another great site and your host, but link to SpaceEmpires.net. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif You might want to mention in the real entry for SE.org that the site is closed.

I also like this new way to display ships. Great work. Can't wait for your new site to be up and running.
