TDM Modpack Observations
Noticed the following strange behavior when playing Gold 1.84 with TDM Modpack 3.30:
AI planets with satellites as cargo do not launch them during tactical combat. They just sit there and get blown up. In most cases there are some satellites in orbit when combat starts. High proportion of games have an AI race located in an adjacent system to my home system. This is a huge advantage as it is easy to get an early game surrender and makes for a cake walk game. This happened 3 out of 5 games played so far in large galaxies with no Neutral races, medium number of computer generated races, medium difficulty and no computer bonus. |

Anwyay, if you pick so many races for the cuadrant, surelly they will start very close. Finally two advices: always play with High Difficulty, because if not the AI can't use all of his ministers! Second, play with at least low bonuses for the AI: it will improve a lot the challenge. In fact in games with High Bonus is not always so easy defeat the AI when you start close them (at least to me). |
