Do Quantum Reactors produce supplies while engaged in battle?

If you have a single base ship with a quantum reactor, obviously it's limit of 2 engines (which only hold 100 supplies)& it's loaded with massive WMG's...is it going to run out of supplies in battle?....or does the quantum reactor produce supplies for your weapons in battle?...I did a search on QR's & nobody seemed to touch on that subject....anyone know for sure?

As long as the QR is intact your Baseship doesn't actually have _any_ supplies. It is 'Unlimited', or somesuch, which is an entirely different 'state of being'.

The ship with the quantum reactor can never run out of supplies in battle, unless the quantum reactor is destroyed. However, it can not share supplies with other ships in the fleet during battle. So, other ships that do not have a quantum reactor can still run out of supplies during a battle, or even during the middle of the turn. Supplies are only pooled at the end/beginning of the turn (I forget exactly when).

Wouldn't 2 engines store 1000 supplies?
And as Loser said, the supplies of a ship with a Quantum Reactor are listed as "Unlimited"; I'd presume weapons fire with energy drawn directly from the Reactor's infinite supply.

yes 2 engines do store 1000 supplies...but have you ever seen how many supplies them WMG's use?...That's why I was wondering if I'd still have unlimited shots if needed. Thanks guys!
