New Patch

Didn't I read something about a new patch being out Last week? Anyone know where it is?

Maybe I'm getting confused with Star Fury...

Re: New Patch

What is the best way to handle patches for PBW games? I mean, first, is it possible to upgrade to a new patch with an in-progress game? If so, I presume it would be a judgment call on the players and host whether they want to upgrade the game, but what might then be some of the pitfalls?

thanks,

Alarik

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Most of the time you won't expierience any major problems; hardly any minor problems at that. In order to upgrade a game in progress on PBW is to ask Geo or one of the other admins at PBW to change the game to the new patch. At which point all players will need to have the corrisponding patch in order to continue. I've gone through 2 patches on PBW in many games and I have never seen any problems come up.
