Millennia ago, our race was a powerful one. But our intellectual elite decided to move on to another plane of existence. So they did. The average John Doe did the same 3 century later. All what was left was 1 million of us. Of course, our empire crumbled, we were never able to maintain it.
Then, following the Pushover vs Pushover case (appeal Lasted for 11 century !), space was declared out of our jurisdiction. So most of our population of Used Cars Resellers just jumped out of our homeplanet and started a new colony.
That was no fun.
Because with these guys out of here, all what was left on our homeplanet were the Lawyers and the Spammers. Of course it could not work. Disgusted, a bunch of Lawyers just jumped in another star system to see if they still could sue something else.
Then we found another gang of leftovers : the Imperium Astralis.
Some of our Lawyers are now wondering if they could sue these aliens to death, but meanwhile our spammers are washing them alive with unsolicited and abusive communications to sell them products they'll never be able to use (and which we don't know how to build anymore)
We will definitely try to work with the Astralis to research an anti-spam legislation, and to settle existing cases (list pending). Then we'll sell them stock of used cars.

Future looks bright.
