That's interesting. I know you can intentionally put systems over top of each other if you want and it doesn't cause errors. I had thought to make some interesting maps with that "feature" some day, but it's soo difficult to make anything by hand in the editor I never got around to it.

Ok... I think I understand now what causes the errors.
So I will pass this on. If you currently have a map open and wish to load a new map or radomly generate a map without the program crashing clear the system window. I think that the program keeps this window in memory. And if by chance the new map has a system in the same location as the one highlighted it tries to generate it in the system window. And since there is a system there it crashes. I believe the solution would be for the program to clean that window out on loading a map or creating a new one. what i do is i click on an empty space in one of the cornors to make sure. thats all |
