What does not cause compatability problems?
I have gathered that the following TXTs can be modified without causing compatability problems.
</font>
Question 1: Am I missing any or have I included something wrong? Question 2: I don't understand the "RepairPriorities.txt". How does the game tell what repair priority means what? When you start a new game, those priorities are listed. When you press "Remove All", almost half of them disappear from the list permanently. This is very confusing. Re: What does not cause compatability problems?
SystemTypes.txt, StellarAbilityTypes.txt and QuadrantTypes.txt do not cause compatibility errors. They are only read when the map is created, and never again. Thus, FQM Standard can make maps useable in the stock game.

And I thought you were asking about compatability problems with Windows. Anything that runs on a PC has those, I think. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif
