Webpage Design!!
I know that this is way off topic, but I have read so many Posts by all of the regulars and have come to realize that some of you are way more computer literate than me.
I am getting married this summer and we decided to put a registry on our website which people would be able to come to and check off an item that they had purchased. It sounds like a great idea but there is one snag, I don't know how to do it. I need someone to either tell me it can't be done, or how to do it. All the help you can give would be greatly appreciated!! |

Re: Webpage Design!!
It should be a pretty simple script to do this. I will try to work up a script for you and let you know in a day or two (can only do it in my free time; not much of it) what I come up with. Check back here for details...
A question; is there any particular look you want? For a simple function script for what you want it shouldn't take too much. But the more fancy type stuff will take some more time. Also, do you already have somewhere to host the script? If so do they support PHP? (The language I will use to make this) |

Simple design - high level of usability and clean design is a good way to go.

Re: Webpage Design!!
Thanks for the help Ragnarok I knew there had to be people on here that knew way more about this than I do.

Re: Webpage Design!!
Have you done a search for Wedding Registry HTML, JAVA, or XML?
I did a google search for wedding registry scripts and found this site. I don't know if it is helpful or not though. http://www.bigwebmaster.com/1428.html |
