How to "save" turn under 1.91

As I understand it, the new 1.91 patch allows one to save one's turn while you're doing it, and then come back to it later to finish it. I haven;t yet been able to figure out how to do this. I'm probably missing something basic. Can someone educate me?

thanks,

Alarik

You click the "Game Menu" icon (Upper left corner, looks like a clipboard) and click "Save Game". Then select the filename.gam file from the list, or if you prefer, hit "New Save Game" and save it as a new file. You can then come back later and load the saved .gam file and it will have whatever changes you did up to that point.

Clearly, I am going blind. that's the first place I looked, and didn't see it. I must have been on 1.84.

thanks!

Being able to save the game is great. Usually I open the turn each day to see what has happened. Then I go through my empire seeing what i can do. But I usually leave the turn and go off to do something else while thinking of what I will do. Before I had all these changes but had to lose them all and worry about forgetting something when I went to make the final changes.
