OT Does anyone know....
 

Do any of you guys know what a "board war" is? Because if you do maybe we could all start one here using some of the races we use in SEIV or something.....whaddya all think?

If you don't know what it is I'll explain in detail.

A boardwar is an interactive story that is also part game

There are many types of boardwars some are character based others fleet or army based. You basically create either a character or a race and then enter the boardwar universe and start posting story threads in response to or starting other players responses. It can be an RPG but it can also be a fleet based board war or an army board war where you play the role of a race in the universe and interact with other player races and they interact with you so it all depends on how you guys play against each other on whether you make peace or war http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif .

Go to hwuniverse.com's boardwars forum and you'll see a few examples.
