To all my PBW games...
 

To all my games on PBW I am going to be out of state this weekend. I am leaving tomorrow around noon (est) and will not be back, or have internet access, until late Sunday night.

Therefore, those that are willing, I would appreciate it if they could be put on LPU for this weekend. The games I am involved in are:

"Survivor 2", Round 8
(New) Galactic Combat 4
2003 PBW Open Tournament, rd1gm1
K.O.T.H. Warlord Ragnarok vs Alneyan
Networks II -- Entanglements
Puke's Mail Order Monsters
Return to Hell 2
Space Empires 101

I know the Survivor rules state that no delays are permitted due to vacation so that is fine. I will probably have someone else play my turns for this weekend.

For my players in RTH2 I will not put the game on LPU since this is going to be a super long game anyways. I may move the turn process back about 6 hours or so but that is the only thing that will be changed, if even that much.

Thanks to everyone that is willing to do this for me. If there are some games that do not want to change the game to LPU, that is completly fine and acceptable. I will just pick up where the AI left off. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

2003 PBW Open Tournament, rd1gm1 is already on ALPU, so no problem there. You guys gonna finish that before 2004 is gone? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

You'll need to get a replacment like you said for Survivor though, or take your chances with the AI.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Yeah, it'll be done shortly I'm guessing. Me and cheeze are still in a treaty building outselves up for the big day of fighting. But I will stand no chance of winning when it comes to that.

I hope he doesn't mind me releasing some information, shouldn't matter since we are the only ones left. But he has just over 1000 ships to my 650. He has close to 600 planets to my 200. His resource production is 6.1 million (IIRC) to my 1.5 million. So it goes without saying that he has the upper hand. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

Ragnarok is right. It would be embarassing with the size of my empire if I lost, so I've been extra-careful. Besides, I want to have the fighting occur immediately once war is declared. I worry Rags is supporting his ships with my resources, so I want the fights to be decisive. Besides, he might concentrate his ships in one or two spots, and I have many more places to protect.

No problem with the wait here. I am usually the reason for the slow times on this game. Takes forever to do the turns for an empire this large. Especially when I like to personally handle everything.

It will process tonight at 5:30 as per the normal schedule, but I'm sure Cirvol will get his turn up before then so it will be earlier. Then after that will be 52 hours until it runs again or until we all upload as usual.
