Trade BUG
 

In the Last 3 turns of a PBW game I´m playing I haven´t received any gifts/trade I made with any of my allies. In the first turn I though I forgot to send an accept message... but I triple-checked that I did that in the second turn... but still no gifts/trade received... and in this 3rd turn the same story... I accept the trade/gift message but I don´t get it in the next turn.

it is really beginning to bug me. I asked the people I am playing with and they said they also didn´t get any reply from me (which they should get if the accept-message would actually have been sent)

I was wondering if this bug has something to do with the fact I didn´t do these Last turns in "one-go" as u might say ... I saved the game and then then finished doing the turn later.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before? Any bugs when saving the game & then continuing or this trade bug.

There are bugs with the Messages function.
Usually it's best to save message sending to Last, doing them as the Last thing you do before you finish the turn.
Then you'll have the biggest chance that it'll work.

Well, Juri, you've heard before that you shouldn't do diplomancy first in a turn, there's a bug in that, gotta do someting else first, yadda yadda ... But you don't seem to be doing that this time...

But, I'm wondering what you're actually doing. You can save a game? And the continue before submitting? How? When I PBW, the save function is not allowed. At any rate, if I could, I probably would be wary of doing it, given the bugs in diplomacy, it would seem risky to me.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">U simply click on the Game menu button and then "Save game". All your orders & stuff are thereby saved. It was one of the additions Aaron made a few Versions back. U really should read the history.txt file, sometime there is some great stuff in there http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

But I guess technically it was made for Version 1.87 or something like that. So a previous Version indeed, just not released at that release...Oh well, I am confusing myself here...
