A bunch of people at my work are playing, and they all seem to love it. The character creation is supposed to be amazingly cool.

I've been playing since it was released, and it's a lot of fun. All the good parts of EQ without all the tedium and annoyances, in my opinion.

And these days, who wouldn't want the opportunity to stomp on some evil.

I got it Last week and play on liberty server.--Its a load of fun--especially if your into the super-hero/ comics genre. Character creation is amazing-- you can really make a custom looking character with it. Its really a good game for casual play--very action oriented and Not a timesink like EQ is. You go on missions -- or can group up and such.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">After the first (free) month, it's around $14.99 if you go month to month, or if you choose 3 or 6 months at a time it saves a couple bucks. Typical mmorpg pricing.

I will play it for a few months-- id like to try out other character models and powers, so. Id also like to see what the first expansion will be like.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Well, I compare it to a game like Far Cry, which I really liked and finished in less than a month. Even if my interest in City of Heroes fades after a few months, that's still more entertainment than most games out there.
