break formation strategy
 

I'm playing AIC mod, and i noticed that one of the formations (one of the phalanxes) said that it is best used with a break formation strategy. how do I tell my ships to break formation??? I can't do it by changing the fleet's strategy, and I can't set a design's strategy to break formation in the designs dialog. Where is it?

Click "Empire Status (the crown)" then "Strategies".

Find the strategy your fleet has (or the strategy you want to make break formation). Click it then on the right, you will see a button called "Formation". Click it to see where you can add all the ship(types) to break formation.
