Hello

How do I install the birth of the federation mod into space empires? i have tryid to the only thing that happends is that the loading/start screen shows startrek related pictures and a box with some error mesages apear?

Alright slasko you need to put the mod into its own folder within your se4 folder se4/birthofthefederation then you need to get the se4 mod launcher which should be on your se4 gold CD in the extras folder.

I've never heard of one but installing any mod works the same way and it doesn't hurt my post count to help people.

It is entirely possible that the mod is for SE4 classic instead of Gold.

The mod is not for SE4 classic, it is for Gold. You need to have SE4 Gold, not regular SE4. If you have Gold, patch it to Version 1.91. If you do not have Gold, you will need to buy Gold.
