Sceniors where can i get more.
 

I got the 3x sceniors with the game CD - is there a download link where i might get more - this is really an under utilised aspect of the game i think

And also can i get advice the strandard or tyco wars sceniro - the one where you start with a single moon - has anyone beaten it yet - any advice on how to beat it ?

Scenarios are actually specially modified saved games. It takes a lot of time to play all the turns and set up the scenario description files.
That is why so few are available.
There ARE a few more available - some of the members of the forum here have links in their sigs to some more.
Anyone out there have any more unpublished?

What are the scenarios that are on the CD? I never checked, I'm such a dummy. Are they these {two mentioned here?} These are two of my Favorites, there's also another one by Geo, a Voyager scenario.

i really enjoyed the Drone Wars scenario. It was really simple and pretty easy, but it made the game entirely different.

Space 1999 was a great scenario, as was they Voyager one. The Andromeda scenario was pretty cool too, but it was very similar to the Voyager one.

I also really liked SJ's scenario where you have a single home-system thats about to go nova, and you have to evacuate and survive against fully developed AI aggressors. That one was tough.

I dont have links, but I think most of those are on the PBW sites file section.

What we need is a sceniro editor, map editor, AI editor, Modding program to change key components, tech trees etc. ANd any other ideas that the SE4 forum community can come up with

If anyone has suggestions on a new scenario I could try to put it together.

I am hoping that the scenarios in SE5 have more robust triggers so you can actually program certain events to happen based on what the player does during the game. The current system only pretty much allows for a backstory and setup.

Actually I have one that might be fun...

Instead of just starting out with a planet, have everyone also start out with a (gifted) Spaceyard ship as well...

This spaceyard ship should be really high tech. It would be a major drain on resources to maintain.
So do you analyze the ship for the immediate tech and resources gain; use the ship to attack the other empires out there immediately; or mothball it to use later on?
Or maybe a combination of these...
