Units and ship maximums
I use a galaxy with 200 systems. What would be an appropriate maximum number for units and ships per player. The game defaults of 100 and 100 wouldnt be right,since a player would have more than 100 fighters.
Would 200 for ships and 500 for units be a good choice for a 200 system galaxy? [This message has been edited by Emperor Zodd (edited 06 January 2001).] |

Well the maximum you can set it to is 2000 and there is no reason not to except if the turns start to bog down with the computer taking to long for its turns in the later game. I believe I read long ago that if units are grouped they count as one unit also. So you can have 100 mines grouped at a warp point and that counts as 1 unit in space not 100. Also units in a storage container or on a planet don't count against the limit at all its only units in space.
