Intelligence projects
 
I want to play without intelligence projects. Will shutting off this feature compromise any of the AI races? Or has MM taken care of this?

And how come when you shut it off you still can adjust your race for cunning? Shouldn't this be turned off and greyed out?

None of the races in the current game depends on intelligence like say the "Darloks" in MOO. All of them will use intel as an adjunct to their other strategies. So, you can disable intelligence if you want to and play a straight military game.

Cunning may be useful in other areas than generation of intelligence points. Not sure. Maybe they could do that, though. Send MM an email.

When you shut off intelligence,I noticed the AI races still allocate(waste)race characteristics points on cunning. I wish MM would fix it so cunning is disabled and the AI races don't waste points on cunning.
