Does any one remember the name of the movie that was made about the late night wars between david letterman and jay leno over who was going to get Carsons job after he retired?

I have been searching for hours with no luck.

I saw it years ago. They got a guy who looked a lot like Jay to do the part. Real cut-throat movie as I recall. (But I can't find it either. I thought it was called, "Leno" but...no luck.)

From memory I think it's Night Shift. Now to go check and see if I'm right.

EDIT: Close. The Late Shift.

It was a pretty good movie. I've seen it a couple times. It runs on cable a lot. Kathy Bates as Leno's psycho-witch agent stole the show though.

I want them to put this on DVD along with Pirates of Silicon Valley and The Pentagon Wars. Those were interesting movies.
