BETA testers needed (no sorry, not SEV)

Pardon me a minute while I break in with a message from our sponsors. We need beta testers. Ground floor. Chance to get on the unofficial "list" of beta testers.

Much input needed on this multiplayer-only game. Please read the ReadMe.txt.

There is no AI yet but you can play yourself twice flipping back and forth, or multiplay Online with other beta-testers. Take a look. If you are interested and feel you can make suggestions that will bring the game forward then send me a PM and I will open access to the beta forum.

(And if anyone else is working on a game, talk to me)

Re: BETA testers needed (no sorry, not SEV)

If anybody understands network concepts a bit more than I do, I have a small query about one of the features of this game (regarding multiplayer):

Quote:

# "Save to Server" feature, allowing you and your friends from around the world to take their turn, in their own time, from anywhere.
<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Is it the virtual equivalent of PBEM/PBW, or am I misunderstanding the concept?

Thanks for transmitting the news Gandalf!

Yes I think thats what he is trying to achieve. Kindof like how Dominions2 does it where there host can keep running just to receive turn files easier than pbem. (afraid I havent played with the SEIV way of doing it yet) PBEM without the EMail part.
