Team Mode?!
Someone please answer me this question: When playing team mode with just me (1 human) and all else AI (8 AI's), why the heck are they fighting one another?! I pop over and look at the other races to check on something and I get caught up fighting the AI'l battles. I take a look at the Relations (F9) screen and it shows some at war, some at Partnership. Why are they at war when they should be all brotherly and lovey-dovey?
Anyone? |

you just need to keep sending them requests that demands them to reply. For example, if you keep demanding an AI to do something, they will try to give you an answer next turn (yes or no), and that will prevent the AI from declaring war on you. But you will need to do it every turn. A lot of MM, but at least you know you can use this trick if you need a few more turns to prepare for the upcoming wars.

or to keep someone in a partnership who has turned murderous? ooohh, the cheese. |

It just make you the mega evil empire at the start of the game, and everyone will declare war on you as soon as they have met you. But, there is a way (kind of) around it though... If you have just had a first contact with a race, and you are playing with team mode on or you are the mega evil empire, then you just need to keep sending them requests that demands them to reply. For example, if you keep demanding an AI to do something, they will try to give you an answer next turn (yes or no), and that will prevent the AI from declaring war on you.
