Problems emailing Malfador about SE4...
 

Has anyone noticed that for the Last week, perhaps longer, Malfador's email server is not working?

Every time I try to send them an email, I get my message back from the Mailer daemon or whatever, saying that output cannot be created to a certain directory.

My guess would be that they're not paying attention to it, and the server is overloaded, and therefore rejects all email because the maximum email index size has been reached. My email server does the same thing when the emails left on the server grow too large...

So has anyone else noticed this?

It probably got overloaded when they went on vacation. With all the people E-mailing them reguarly it would tend to fill up in much less than a week. I would give them a few days to catch up on it, they are probably overwelmed with it right now and they were also working on a patch for this month I heard Last month too.

I have the same problem trying to mail the RANGE CHECK ERROR problems. I have waited untill after the date the should be back from holidays, but still not possible to mail

I just got a reply from MM on a minor bug I reported - so they ARE back, and ARE responding, so keep trying & good luck!

BTW - their website has been updated (as of 8 JAN 00, 2200 GMT) to say they're back from vacation, and are trying to answer the huge backlog of e-mail.
