My new addiction: Internet Poker
 

Yep, the Primitive one has a new addiction: Playing Poker on the net.

Tried it first a few months ago, and now I'm hooked (In a good way http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ). It seems Internet Poker gives me the chance to utilizes a lot of the skills honed by playing SEIV/PBW for a couple of years: Attention to detail, patience and the ability to outguess your opponent.

Still early days and I got a lot to learn but I’m doing OK so far. Still only on the 0.50/1 $ tables (better do my mistakes where its cheap) but I’m steadily building the bankroll to move up. Dunno how far I can take this, but I’m going to give it my best shot. Wish me luck http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

BTW:
This new addiction cuts down on my available SEIV time, and is the reason I won't join the tournament (or any other new games for a while). My ongoing games will be done at the normal rate http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Where you playing at?

I've been playing alot lately as well. I'm only doing the freeroll thing...but they have some good tournements on Ultimatebet.com, and some WPT trips on Paradise Poker. On occasion I also play a few freeroll tournies at Pokerstars...

Mostly Party, but I have accounts at Pacific and the Prima network too.
Look for Primit1ve at Party.

I hope you have fun, but keep an eye on your bankroll. Gambling addictions are real.

What me and my brother did was put 50 in, with no expectations.

Then we won a bit, and set down that we would not go below the minimum cash-out limit.
And set an upper limit where we'd cash out the minimum as profit.
