Help with ship maintence ..ships being abandoned !
 

I have crews abandining ships ! They say I am not maintaining the ship ? Some of the ships are the most recient design,and some are old. I have plenty of resources of all kinds. NOT Good http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif Any help appreciated.

If it says you do not have enough resources to maintian the ship you don't have enough. It could be with current build orders that all your resources are being used and there is nothing left for ship maintaince.

Are you at war with any enemy AI? they tend to start mutinys on your ships or change it so it fails to upkeep... Click on the Empire button, the one with the crown and see what your resources are like and if you are in the positive or negative...

When you don't produce enough resources to pay maintenance costs, your ships will be abandoned as they run out of supplies. So either keep them near resupply depots, or build more resource producing facilities on your planets, like mineral mining facilities.

Also, check your construction costs. That tends to cost a lot of minerals. If that is high, put some planets on hold for a bit and take them off hold as your resource production increases.
