Need comfirmation on possible bug
 

Everytime I set my stratigies to "drop troop" "point blank" and enter into stratigic combat, I get a RCE. (Range Check Error)

What I need to do is verify that its the game, and not me. So, would anyone be willing to try this for me?

Go to ministers, selet stratigies, First choice is "Drop Troops" Second "Point Blank"

Then find an enemy planet, (make sure your forces as at least one loaded troop transport) and do attack. When asked to perform Stratigic or Tatical, choose Stratigic. Either your forces will not capture the planet, as in not even try, or you'll end up with an RCE.

Please let me know what happens. Thanks.

I encountered such an error also and reported it. I think it is an eror with the troop transport as I did not reset the fleet orders.

Thank you. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif For a while there, I thought it was something I did. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif Just couldn't figure out what it was I had done. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif But it occured on my Win2k PC too. Seldom play on that PC as its mainly for my office, and I don't like to clutter it up, but I had to see. Played one small game, and the error was there. (uninstalled the game afterward) (my office PC is also my girl friends, and she hates space sims. )
