I have played the demo .56 a few dozen times. In about 2/3s of the games, when I refit a CL or DD, it sometimes turns into (is refitted into?) one of the other empire's ship classes. I retain ownership, but the newly refitted ship has weapons I never researched, and a hul design (Picture) from another race.

Yes, its nice getting a ship that I can then reverse engeneer for a tech research boost - but it is a bug? Anyone else have this bug - or is it just my copy - and therefore it is corrupted?

Definatly a bug.
I would type up all the particulars in a email. attach a save game file. (before and after if possible.) and mail it all to se4@malfador.com
