Administration of Designs etc?
 

Is there any way to have some basic designs that I can just call up each time I start a game?

For example - do I always have to design a simple colony ship from scratch? Or is there a way to pull up a basic design?

Any other ways to make things easier?

One way I found was; If you export your empire, it keeps the ships designs you already have! So next time you load it your old designs there there...and for the ones you can't build yet it says insufficient tech or something. Pretty neat.
