Resupply & Repair at Allied Facilities...
 

Hi everyone, I've got a question:

Is there no way to see which of your allies' planets has facilities for repairing and resupplying ships? The only way I've been able to find out where they actually are is by flying a ship deep into their territory and then selecting the "Resupply at Nearest" order and remembering where my ship goes. Surely there's a better way...?

It seems that if I'm in a Military/Partnership Alliance with another player I should be able to see where his depots are so that I can make use of them and vice versa. I must be missing something obvious here...

Right click on the crown picture in the upper left menus and go into Empire options. Check the option to see Spaceyards, Resupply Depots, and Space Ports. I think if you can use them that they will be visible on your Allies planets as well. I don't make too many treaties with the aliens anymore but I remember it worked in the .56 demo when I used to be a nice "unbloodthirsty" empire.

There's an option to display ship yards, spaceports and resupply facilities on the main System map. They should show up as "YSR" on the bottom of the planet icon
