Editing saved games
 

Does anyone know of a utility that will allow you to edit saved games? I would in particular like to be able to re-name systems. I understand that you can edit the SystemNames.txt file, but that does not ensure that I will start in a system of a particular name. Also, editing the file doesn't seem to change the systems names of a game in progress. I just can't stand playing as the Terrans and not starting in the "Sol" system! Thanks!

I'd love to have the same ability to rename systems that we now have to rename planets. I have difficulties in some games when sound-alike systems pop up.
