The rules state that if a sector has a resupply depot facility a small R will appear on the system window. Where the hell is it http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif Worse then looking for Waldo!

Plus I take it a ship merely has to enter such a system to get resupplied, and not land at the planet itself. Does it occur immediately?

You have to turn on the option for the Small letters for Spaceports, Shipyards, and resupply depots.

No. You have to move over the planet, and it resupplies instantly. Moving into the system is not good enough.

Resupply is ALMOST instantaneous... I've found that my ships end up within 60-100 points of their maximum storage as soon as they move into the sector containing the resupply depot. I have to wait for the next turn before they're actually at maximum supply level.

Yes... I believe that effect is because it resupplies before it deducts the cost of moving into the square... So resupply is in fact too fast! http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif

Simply reversing the order should fix that then. Shouldn't be too hard imo.

where is that option??? Its not in options???

you are right it is there! However when I activated it I still did not see a R or S for resupply or spaceport. Where are they suppppopse to appear?

Right underneath the planet, in owner's color. Also, it won't show those owned by other players, without at least a Military Alliance (IIRC).
