Mine field consolidation

Malfador could you make it possible to consolidate your minefield in one sector? This is a pain.

Re: Mine field consolidation

If you do all additions to an existing minefield via the "remote launch" command, it puts them in the same group as the original minefield. If you move your ship into the sector and then use the "launch" command, you get a new group every time.

Do what BB just said. You do that, and all your mines will be placed into the same feild. REMOTE DEPLOY mines works great for that. Remember that you can only deploy mines equal to your minelayers on your ship. So if you have only 5 minelayers on your ship, thats all the mines you can deploy from that ship at one time. Good luck, and mine away.

Re: Mine field consolidation

I once mistook a minelayer for a pop transport and when it got attacked selected strategic combat since I thought it was doomed. The dang thing dropped a string on Groups of 5 mines, like 18 of them. Then got pLastered. So afterward I had this annoying stack of 18 Groups of 5 mines floating in the middle of one of my systems.
