Re: Kamikaze Attack Ships
I really don't like them. They seldom do much damage, and are often, more than not, destoryed before they can get up close to a target ship.

Re: Kamikaze Attack Ships
Atrocities-
Exactly! That is why I am (at least for the Darlok) going to convert it into an Attack Bomber type. Then I can make specific calls to it via the "AI_Construction_Vehicle" file and control how many the AI produces (as opposed to the current method of letting the AI select how many of each type of attack ship to build if you have multiple designs of the same size) However, this will not do me any good unless the design type is considered a "valid" type for inclusion in fleets. The ones I saw where singletons.

Kamikaze Attack Ships
Question: has anyone seen the AI use "Kamikaze Attack Ships" or "Boarding Ships" in its "Attack Fleets" or "Defense Fleets"? Since the "ram" and "kamikaze" and arguably the "Capture Enemy Ship" AI strategies are currently not working, I was reworking these designs to provide the AI with additional specific classes of ships that can be "called" in the construct file. The problem is, I have never witnessed the AI adding these design types to a fleet. . .

Re: Kamikaze Attack Ships
I have only seen kamikaze attacks ships once and they where frigates with the first level of explosive ramming warheads and they never succeded in actually ramming one of my ships even with one on one odds against my frigates. Only saw a few before the AI started building regular warships.

Re: Kamikaze Attack Ships
So I assume they were not part of an AI fleet if it was early in the game?
