Did I miss somethin with patchin???
 

Hmmm...I've been really busy lately and just now got around to playing the PC. I got the Lastest update for DO (1.06), but when I try to patch I get an odd message stating:

"The Version of Dungeon Odyssey you have installed is not correct. This install upgrades from Version 1.00 to Version 1.06. If you are having trouble, reinstall from the original Dungeon Odyssey CD that you recieved."

Um...this IS the install from the CD. I checkd the History file and the installed Version is "Version 0.15". This is from one of the first shipped CD's.

Is there a location of the older patches so I can bring my product up to date? I might have just gone brain dead and missed something, but hopefully you guys can put me back on track with little effort/difficulty. As always, thanks in advance!!!!

That's strange. I thought 0.15 was the Last beta Version...
Have you tried to re-install the game already?

Wow, the beta???? This was off a fresh install from my CD [I've been a little busy and hence a little slow on getting stuff installed http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ]. I'll go home and give it a shot again tonight after installing/reinstalling to see what happens.

Also, thank you for the quick reply. I think in all the developers, companies, and gamers associated with Shrapnel are a cut above--and this board proves it over and over.

After a full reinstall from CD and the Version still says 0.15!!!!

However...I deleted, rebooted, reinstalled (still said 0.15) and I attempted to patch....

...and patched with no problems after the reboot/reinstall.

There is some quirk in the WISE Installer Aaron uses. I had similar problems with the beta recently. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
