I feel a promotion comming...
 

I suspect that when I hit 200 Posts that I'll be promoted to Seargant and the prospect has me a little anxious. I know, I'm a silly goof, but I'm a happy one! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I even have a new avatar pic ready that looks similar to this new one but with that precious extra stripe!

I guess pointing to an uploaded file no longer works, ah well, too bad so sad! It's back to henry I go then http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

I put the pic in my profile if you want to see it on the proper background. Using this same link in the 'Set URL' for selecting a new Avatar pic doesn't work! (Strange thing is that this is the way my old pic was set up and it was working fine till I decided to change it!)

Urika! I figured it out I think... The 'Set URL' option for selecting an Avatar pic doesn't like bmp's!!! I uploaded a jpg Version and voila! it works. OR.. it has to do with the file size, and the 7k bmp was too much and the 3k jpg fit in under the max allowed hmmm, my guess would be the first option, but I could be wrong, and maybe "Size does matter!" lol

I think web browsers in general don't like *.bmp files. At least they didn't Last time I tried putting a *.bmp in an HTML page (this was about five years ago)... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif
