What\'s the use for the following items....?
 

Hi there,

Can someone tell me the use for the following items which I do encounter in the game:
1. rings? why should I wear rings?
2. amulets and neckles?
3. Are the pick and shovel only good for fighting?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Deeper in the game you will find 'enchanted' rings and amulets. Once you find some it will be readily apparent they have good use. In the beginning of the game, most rings and amulets are just good for selling to get money.

I believe that curently shovels and picks are just a type of weapon. It would be nice if they could be used for digging/tunneling in caves. Then 'mining' would be a possible way to earn cash in the game!

You might be able to make scenarios where shovels and picks would be needed to trigger events, and make them useful that way.

In Nethack and Moria, you can do mining in some spots, which is pretty fun. Good idea for an new feature.
