Whats the dilly with Non-Aggresion

Questions-

Does Non-aggression mean you can't pass through each others planet and ship sectors?

Can you simply counter an AI's trade agreement offer with an offer for NA indefinatly and keep him out or your systems while not pissing him off by rejecting his treaty?

Yes, the non aggression treaty allows you to pass through warp points, sectors etc. without having to resolve combat.

The treaty you want to offer is NON-INTERCOURSE which means no interaction. This treaty just means "we're not at war but we otherwise have no relationship". You do not allow them to sail right past your ships or colonize in your systems with this treaty. It's really the closest thing to a "peace treaty" and is probably what you ought to offer when you want to end a war. Dunno if the AI is smart enough to use this properly or if it considers it like all other treaties, though. (Meaning, it might just refuse because it's at war and doesn't want to give you any benefits...)

The AI doesn't use this properly. Non-intercourse treaties work wonderful. The AI, however does do a really good job of obeying them. Much better than normal. If you get one, they are very unlikely to send ships into your systems. The ones they had already sent won't be retargetted, but very few new ones come your way. And when they do show up, you can kill them. But you might provoke a war if you do.
