PDF Version?
How about releasing a pdf Version of the game?
The shipping, customs/toll and VAT are a killer for us here in Denmark. [ February 24, 2003, 20:01: Message edited by: Jaeger ] |

Was here again hoping a reply had come.

Re: PDF Version?
Sorry Jaeger:
Didn't see your Posts. We can't do that. When you invest 10's of thousands in product, you need that product to move. Releasing pdf's will give alot of people a good reason not to invest in the game, plus will lead to major pirating. We are trying to line up resellers in Europe - if you know of any firms in Denmark, just give us a shout. Best regards, |
Re: PDF Version?
I thought it was possible to make money from a pdf Version as you would have very low manufacturing and distribution costs.
Anyway here are some game making/distribution companies in Denmark: http://www.midgaardgames.com http://www.danspil.dk (mostly family games) Also I'm sure my favorite wargame shop: http://www.fantask.dk (email: fantask@fantask.dk) will know who you can contact for getting your game out in Scandinavia. There is also my 2nd favorite: http://www.faraos.dk/fc-english.html (email: faraos@faraos.dk) I hope these links will prove helpful to you as I would really like to buy LnL from a shop here in Denmark or Scandinavia or at the very least from England. |
Re: PDF Version?
Jaeger,
Sorry about the delayed replies. We've been busy wrapping up the game. Tim's post says it all; we won't be doing a PDF Version of the game. Of course there is a PDF demo, which we plan on updating in the coming weeks. I'm sure that Tim will look into the Denmark retailers. Thanks for the information. Best, Mark |
