small armor? where did it go?
 

well have the game. good one that it is. modified it a little to suit a more epic galactic deal though. one thing that I have seen and noticed is the small fighter armor for some reason is not available. I have tried to find some way to put it in there but for some reason it doesn't show. I had to mod the emissive armor to help compensate the loss to the figher systems. Anyone help with this it would be great.

I assume you're talking about Space Empires IV Gold. (It really would be better to ask in the SE IV Forum rather than the general Ask Shrapnel Games forum.)

The most common cause for this kind of problem is a double blank line accidentally slipped into the modded file. SE IV reads a double blank as end of file.

Look for stray lines in Components.txt somewhere before the Small Armor entries.
