What is IT2?
 

OK, it is a trading space game. But is it:
Turn based?
Multiplayer and/or solo?
How much combat and development are there and how are they implemented?

IT2 is basically a lite strategy/sim where you buy and sell various items. It is turn-based (most all my designs are), and solo.

There are some combat elements to it (more so with the latest patch, where you could be killed and the game ends if you are defeated by pirates, on rare occasions).

Development primarily focuses on your ships (upgrading, adding to them and/or perhaps purchasing a new one). But it can include developing your economic strength too, and developing your profile of the economy and the planets (which is different every game).
