Forum Usage - How to quote
Three people have mentioned this recently, so I thought I'd make it a new thread easy to find.
First, if you look right over here while typing a message <--- You'll see a little link that says "UBB Code is ON." If you click on that it will take you to a popup window that explains all the cool UBB formatting. If you look at the bottom of each person's post you'll see a list of icons. The first lets the person who made that post edit it incase of misspellings. The second allows you to reply to them and quote the whole text of that person's message. The third shows you some data about the person who made the post, including their personal e-mail account if they decided to let you see such a thing. The Last lets you view the IP log for a given post. If you don't want to quote the whole of another person's message, or if you want to quote something from another source just type the following: [quote]. Exactly like that. Everything afterward will be indented and under a horizontal bar. Then type [/] with the word quote after the slash and it will end and you can type your reply. The UBB code page has more details and examples. ------------------ Compete in the Space Empires IV World Championship at www.twingalaxies.com. Mine too, supposedly there is a command that lets you display the UBB commands without activating them, I just don't know it.
