Can Users import Custom Build 3D ships?

I often use the 3D program called "Milkshape" and I have two questions about importing models.

1.) Can it be done

2.) If I use Milkshape to make 3D models, what format do I have to make the model so the game can use it?

I'm planning to experiment with modes with this game because I wouldn't mind making some Star Trek Mods maybe.

Heck, maybe I could even make some Bablyon 5 ships for this game. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif That would be really cool!

You could always email Aaron and ask him.

I think this will be possible. Let's hope Aaron will post soon enough how it works. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
