display problems being fixed?
 

this may be a stupid question, but will the display problems be fixed on the 1.0 release?

i've read that i should either set my desktop to same resolution as the game or alt-tab. i've tried setting my resolution the same, but it gives me a windowed view of game with a blue bar at the top, and alt-tab....well, i shouldn't have to deal with that at all when every other game i have doesn't require me to do that.

Have you changed the VideoMemoryUsage setting to "Safe"?
Once I'd done that I had no problems with resolution changes (at least on my system)

I usually use Windowed mode, as it makes it very easy to multi-task, and I have seen no graphics corruption in this mode from day one. Its also great because I can type this post as I cruise back towards the SpaceStation for my next job. 1152x768 gives me enough room to keep an eye on the starfield behind my browser window http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
