Re: Posted system and quadrant mod.
Oh no how will my race (no atmosphere Ice world) conquer the galaxy without all those almost guaranteed outPosts in every system http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif. Try using a no atmosphere race a few times you will never need that atmosphere converter again. Its a slower start but after you conquer a few races you can colonize everything.

I've never experimented with it myself (though I have played a no-atmosphere race quite often, it's one of my Favorites), but what happens if you build an atmosphere convertor on a gas giant and your race likes no atmosphere?

Here's some simple mods i made to the original quadrants and systems. 1) Got rid of those annoying (to me) tiny moons. 2) Removed black holes since they give the AI so much trouble and readjusted the % chances. (Left the black hole system info in there so they can be added in easily.) I didn't reduce the number of planets except for getting rid of the tiny moons so that there would still be plenty of planets of all types in each good system. ------------------ Know what a wish sandwich is? I tested this and found that the converter trys and trys but there is just way too much atomsphere to get rid of it.

Re: Posted system and quadrant mod.
Thats good if it worked the Gas Giant would probably be tiny by the time it was done http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif. Whats left of a gas giant once you take away all the gas?
