Nice game, but ......

made to carrier less then a week... spending 38k on one fighter then ending up running it over is not very productive .. so far .. that the only thing i dont like ..

You'll find fighters are very good at getting themselves killed, actually..

Yeah, I've learned a lot about fighter management since I've started working on the Battlestar Galactica mod:

1) Fly straight when launching or recovering fighters, or you may accidentally run over them

2) Give yourself a one-count between fighter launches

3) Use Form Up On Me and make sure that your fighters are in formation before engaging the enemy.

4) Don't launch more than 4-5 fighters at a time.

Overall, fighter pilot AI could use a good overhaul...
